Vincentian Priests and Brothers

On Friday, April 16, the body of Mr.  Ryszard Kaczorowski,  last President-in-exile  of  the Republic of Poland and scout Scoutmaster of  Republic will be moved from Belvedere Palace along streets of Warsaw to Basilica of Holy Cross in Warsaw for funeral and mourning ceremonies.  Coffin, covered with the color of  President of  Poland and Commander-in-Chief  will be transported in car accompanied by police escort on motorcycles at late afternoon.  Mr Kaczorowski is one of 96 victims of  presidential airplane crash near Smolensk, Russia on April 10, 2010.

Funeral events that will follow in Holu Cross church on Friday:

18:30 - Concelebrated funeral Mass for the peace of soul of  late President Ryszard Kaczorowski presided by Archbishop Edward Ozorowski, Metropolitan of  Bialystok.  Concelebrants are all bishops from the Bialystok Metropoly. President Kaczorowski was born in Bialystok, and was nominated Honorable Citizen of  Bialystok Province;

20:00 - Special memorial concert dedicated to Mr Ryszard Kaczorowski, last President-in-exile of  Second Republic;

21:00 - starts twelve hours long Scouts’ Wake prayer service at the coffin of  Scout Scoutmaster of  Republic Ryszard Kaczorowski. This wake service was prepared by all scout groups from Poland and Polish scouts abroad.

Saturday events in Holy Cross Church:

9:00 - Liturgy of  Divine Word at the body of tragically fallen lat President of  Second Republic in exile.  Primate Senior of Poland, Cardinal Jozef Glemp will bid farewel in liturgical rite Mr Kaczorowski in the church;

After the service, circa 10:00 the coffin will be taken out from the Holy Cross church and in the military assist of representative unit from Warsaw Garrison it will be moved back to Belvedere Palace and put there for public veneration.

On Monday, April 19 scheduled is funeral Mass in  St. John’s Cathedral in Warsaw. Afterwards Mr Ryszard Kaczorowski will be laid down in the crypt of  Divine Providence Temple among other significant Poles.

Also funeral Mass  of  Mr Slawomir Skrzypek, governor of National Bank of  Poland will be held in Holy Cross church on Monday, April 19 followed by burial at Powazki Military Cemetery in Warsaw.
