Lateral chapels in the Seminary Church reopened

stradom_interior_dsc08671x320At the begining of September lateral chapels in the Seminary Church of Conversion of St. Paul at Stradom in Krakow were reopened after several weeks long renovation. Chapels of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus (to left from main entrance) and Our Lady of Czestochowa (to right from entrance) are now opened for worshipers. From this Sunday they can use beautifully illuminated  corners of the church.

Besides redecoration of walls and ornaments both the statue of Jesus and His Most Sacred Heart and the unique Cross in the chapel of Our Lady of Czestochowa were completely renovated. New, more intensive and directional lights bring additional charm and unique view of both chapels.

This is not only change in the Seminary Church recently. A modern LED panel was mounted near the presbytery (on the left side column). Its presence does not collide with this historic place. Computer controlled panel will be used to display text of liturgical songs during Masses and other services. Displayed letters are well visible from most distant places in the church. It is believed, this panel will help attendants to join songs performances.
