National Pilgrimage of AMM to Jasna Góra Shrine
“All of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility” (1 Peter 5:5) is the motto of 19th National Pilgrimage of Association of Miraculous Medal to Our Lady of Jasna Gora shrine in Czestochowa, which will take place on Friday, July 24 and Saturday, July 25. This year event has special meaning as it happens during Jubilee Year of 100 years of papal approbation of AMM.
The Pilgrimage is organized by National Director of AMM in Poland, Rev. Tadeusz Lubelski CM and AMM group from diocese of Wroclaw. The event will begin with the celebration of the Eucharist at 5 p.m. in the Basilica. Music during the Mass will be performed by “Cor Iesu” choir from the city of Rybnik conducted by Mr. Stanislaw Przechliorz.
Other planned significant celebrations are: Way of the Cross service lead by Mrs. Elzbieta Jozwiak from Wroclaw; over-night wake and adoration; Midnight Mass. On Saturday, important events are conference, witnesses and remembrance of Mr. Adam Sienkiewicz, Novena to Our Lady of Miraculous Medal. In the main Saturday celebration, during the solemn Mass new members will be admitted to AMM. This Eucharist will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. by Msgr Tadeusz Gocłowski CM. The jubilee gathering is planned to finish after the Divine Mercy Hour (ca. 4:00 p.m.).
