Priesthood anniversaries in the Province of Poland

Fifteen confreres celebrated their 55th, 50th and 25th anniversaries of priestly ordinations. Fr. Skrzyniowski presided at the liturgy and Fr Śliwiński preached the homily. At the beginning Visitor of Poland, Fr. Arkadiusz Zakręta CM welcomed all jubilee celebrators, their family members, friends and all attendants of the celebration, “We are raising a thankful ‘Te Deum’ to God in deep conviction, that such jubilee can be deserved with profound affection to God and man, faithfulness to God and serving His people being given the helpful Divine grace. Certainly, every celebrated jubilee, defined by nobler and nobler ore, will witness this affection, faithfulness and ministry more and more according to words of Venerable John Paul II, that priesthood is a calling to love which draws faithfulness to God and is a source of service to neighbors. This love wants us also to express our words of gratitude to our honorable jubilee celebrators which might be said by those people you met on your priestly path if they were present with today, either alive or dead. Those people could witness the quality of Vincentian live and sacerdotal ministry of priest present among us.”

After the Eucharist, all jubilee holders received greetings and encouraging words from other confreres, their families and friends. Students from the Vincentian seminary offered them a short song performance. Finally, they were invited to special community lunch.
